About the Artist:
Reissa

Reissa an oil painter is typically known to paint in a loose alla prima style, has a SECRET passion for illustration. Robert Munch had done a visit to her elementary school and has been hooked ever since. Within illustration she is inspired by Fred Blunt, David Shannon, and Robert Munch. This class is a take on her illustration style with a twist! To do it on a mug! Above is some of her work, this class will be focused on painting a sleepy illustration = Sleepy Mug.

What to expect

  • Expect to get a bit dirty with clay slip, but all materials used will wipe off with water, or come out in the laundry
  • The last 20 minutes of the class will be dedicated to clean-up

What to bring

  • Please bring an apron and hand towel for you to use during the class.
  • Short trimmed nails are ideal for ceramic creativity, but our team is happy to instruct some work-arounds for acrylics.
