Looking for a date night that’s anything but ordinary?
Join us at our Dundas studio in Toronto for a cozy, hands-on handbuilding pottery experience designed for couples. In this 3-hour intimate class, you and your partner will work side by side, shaping clay by hand to create functional pieces such as mugs, bowls, plates, or a custom piece inspired by your shared ideas.
No experience is needed — just bring a sense of fun and a willingness to get a little messy. The class begins with a guided demonstration from our instructor, who will walk you through foundational handbuilding techniques and offer support throughout as you bring your creations to life together.
Once your pieces are complete, they will be professionally bisque fired, glazed, and kiln fired to make them food safe, microwave safe, and dishwasher safe — perfect for enjoying at home as a lasting reminder of your time together.
This workshop is a relaxed, creative way to slow down, connect, and enjoy a mindful moment together.

What to expect
- Expect to get a bit dirty with clay slip, but all materials used will wipe off with water, or come out in the laundry
- The last 20 minutes of the class will be dedicated to clean-up

- Any included or purchased pottery will be fired by our team to make it food-safe, and ready for pickup 3 weeks after the class.
What to bring
- Please bring an apron and hand towel for you to use during the class.
- Short trimmed nails are ideal for ceramic creativity, but our team is happy to instruct some work-arounds for acrylics.
