Looking for a unique date night in Toronto this summer? Skip the usual plans and step into something more meaningful—a hands-on pottery experience under the stars.

Set in our fully outdoor, covered backyard pottery studio, this class transforms into a romantic, candlelit space with warm string lights, creating a cozy, intimate atmosphere right in the heart of the city.

What You’ll Do

• Share a pottery experience together in a romantic setting
• Learn the basics: centering, opening, and pulling clay
• Work together (or take turns) creating your pieces
• Get guided support from our instructors throughout

Outdoor Experience

• Fully outdoor class with covered shade (gazebo setup)
Water stations available to stay hydrated
Hand washing stations on-site
• Steps from Graffiti Alley for creative inspiration

What You’ll Create

2 ceramic pieces per couple (cups, bowls, or small forms)
• A shared experience you’ll actually remember

After Your Class

• Choose your favorite pieces to be professionally fired and glazed
• Finished pottery will be food-safe and dishwasher-safe
• Ready for pickup in approximately 3 weeks

  • Expect to get a bit dirty with clay slip, but all materials used will wipe off with water, or come out in the laundry

What to bring

  • Please bring an apron and hand towel for you to use during the class.
  • Short trimmed nails are ideal for ceramic creativity, but our team is happy to instruct some work-arounds for acrylics.
