About Us
Clay with Me is all about connection, community, and creativity. We understand the importance of having a creative outlet and the opportunity to connect with your body and mind within a supportive space.
To support those around her, Gabriela Angulo founded Clay with Me in her home kitchen, teaching children ceramics, creativity, and the joy of working with clay. Years earlier, she had been a ceramics instructor in her home country of Argentina and spent her early years in Toronto perfecting her English and connecting with her new community.
Over the years, Clay with Me has expanded organically, welcoming new students and team members while operating more like a family pursuing a common goal than a traditional business. One of Gabriela's first students was Mia, who began at age nine and is now an instructor at Clay with Me. Along with students like Mia, some of our instructors and administrative team have been with Clay with Me since the beginning. Our studio and team has grown and taken shape, much like a pot forming on the wheel.
Today, Clay with Me prides itself on being one of Toronto’s most inclusive pottery studios, welcoming everyone to learn, connect, and experience the therapeutic properties of working with clay in our increasingly technological world.
We offer a wide range of adult workshops and children's programs, including after-school classes, summer camps, hand-building and wheel sessions, paint-your-own-pottery experiences, seasonal specialty workshops, private events, and more.
Our creative community is thoughtfully curated, bringing diverse styles and techniques to the studio. We celebrate diversity, inclusion, and equality, and we take pride in providing a safe, welcoming space for all to work and play.
Get creative and connect with our clay community!
