Our Story
Clay with Me was born from a simple idea: creativity has the power to connect us.
In 2010, our founder, Gaby, took a leap of faith and moved to Toronto to begin a new chapter. As a newcomer to Canada, she embraced the challenge of learning a new language and building a life from the ground up. Along the way, she found belonging in a supportive community of mothers who shared not just their time, but their trust—taking turns caring for one another’s children.
It was in her small kitchen studio where the spark of Clay with Me first came to life. To keep the kids engaged, Gaby set up clay stations for them to play. Encouraged by other moms, Gaby opened her doors to more children. What began as a handful of kids gathered around her kitchen table grew into something much larger: a community united by clay, creativity, and connection.
Today, Clay with Me is a space for all ages to slow down, get grounded, and discover the joy of making. What started in one kitchen has blossomed into a studio where people come together to shape not just clay, but lasting memories and friendships.
