A Night of Art, Impact & Youth Leadership at the 2025 Thrive Youth Anti-Gala

On November 12, 2025, we had the honour of sponsoring and participating in the 2025 Thrive Youth Leadership Awards & Anti-Gala, an unforgettable evening held at Steam Whistle Brewery. Hosted by Thrive Youth, this event challenged traditional gala norms—replacing formality with creativity, connection, and purpose.

Designed as a high-energy, immersive experience, the Anti-Gala brought together community leaders, artists, and supporters to celebrate youth leadership while raising critical funds for Thrive Youth’s arts-based leadership programs supporting children and youth in underserved communities.

Live Art in Motion: Clay Meets Purpose

As part of the evening’s interactive programming, Clay With Me Art Studio was proud to contribute a live pottery art show, led by our incredibly talented artist Sabrina. Working live on the pottery wheel, Sabrina transformed raw clay into large-scale ceramic forms throughout the night—inviting guests to pause, watch, and witness the beauty of creation in real time.

The performance became a natural gathering point within the space, sparking conversations about process, mindfulness, and the parallels between shaping clay and shaping young leaders. It was art not just as display, but as experience—perfectly aligned with Thrive Youth’s mission to empower through creativity.

When Art, Leadership & Community Collide

Beyond the live art, the evening featured powerful youth testimonials, dynamic performances, a curated silent auction, and thoughtfully crafted food experiences. Every element reinforced the same message: when young people are given access to creative tools, mentorship, and community, extraordinary growth happens.

We’re deeply grateful to Thrive Youth for inviting us to be part of such a meaningful night—and for continuing to reimagine what fundraising and community impact can look like.
