Whether you're practicing wheel throwing, developing handbuilding skills, or building a personal body of ceramic work, Open Studio provides the tools, flexibility, and creative environment to work at your own pace.

What Is Open Studio?

Open Studio is a self-guided pottery membership program designed for experienced potters who want independent access to a fully equipped pottery studio without formal instruction.

This membership is ideal for ceramic artists and makers who want:

Open Studio Requirements

Open Studio is intended for potters who:

  • Have a minimum of 3 months of pottery experience
  • Can work independently without instructor supervision
  • Understand proper studio cleaning and shared workspace etiquette
  • Commit to a minimum 3-month membership
  • Complete a studio tour and orientation before joining

Makers Monday Membership

34 Hours Per Month — $185/month

Location: Dundas Studio, Toronto
Studio Access: Every Monday
Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Membership Includes

  • Easy online sign-up and scheduling
  • Unlimited access during Monday studio hours

  • One glaze-firing shelf per month (up to 8" tall)

What to expect

  • Expect to get a bit dirty with clay slip, but all materials used will wipe off with water, or come out in the laundry
  • The last 20 minutes of the class will be dedicated to clean-up

What to bring

  • Please bring an apron and hand towel for you to use during the class.
  • Short trimmed nails are ideal for ceramic creativity, but our team is happy to instruct some work-arounds for acrylics.
