Our Open Studio Membership gives experienced potters access to professional pottery wheels, handbuilding stations, studio tools, glazes, and dedicated creative space — all at your own pace. Whether you're practicing wheel throwing, building a personal collection, or looking for a relaxing studio environment to create independently, Open Studio is designed for makers who want flexibility and freedom.

What Is Open Studio?

Open Studio is a self-guided pottery membership program for experienced ceramic artists and potters who want independent studio time without formal instruction.

Perfect for potters looking to:

  • Work in a professional pottery studio in Toronto

This membership is intended for individuals who are comfortable working independently and maintaining shared studio spaces responsibly.

Open Studio Requirements

Open Studio is ideal for potters who:

  • Have at least 3 months of pottery experience
  • Can work independently without instructor assistance
  • Understand proper studio cleaning and pottery safety
  • Commit to a minimum 3-month membership
  • Complete a studio tour and orientation before joining

Slow Sundays Membership

20 Hours Per Month — $150/month

Studio Access: Sundays
Hours: 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM

Enjoy a calm, creative Sunday pottery session in our Dundas, Toronto ceramics studio.

Membership Includes

  • Easy online booking and sign-up
  • Unlimited access during Sundays studio hours
  • Use of pottery wheels and handbuilding stations
  • Access to studio tools, brushes, and house glazes
  • One glaze-firing shelf per month (up to 8" tall)
  • Personal shelf space (80 × 50 cm)
  • Priority firing turnaround: approximately 2–3 weeks
  • Welcome package with pottery tool kit and custom ceramic name tag

Clay & Firing

  • Clay available for purchase: $45 per 10 kg sleeve
  • Additional firing space available if needed

What to expect

  • Expect to get a bit dirty with clay slip, but all materials used will wipe off with water, or come out in the laundry
  • The last 20 minutes of the class will be dedicated to clean-up

What to bring

  • Please bring an apron and hand towel for you to use during the class.
  • Short trimmed nails are ideal for ceramic creativity, but our team is happy to instruct some work-arounds for acrylics.
