3-Week Beginner Wheel Course – Richmond Studio, Toronto
Immerse yourself in the world of wheel-thrown ceramics in this 3-week beginner pottery course in Toronto. Designed to build confidence, skill, and a deeper connection to clay, this course is perfect for anyone who has never touched a pottery wheel or has only tried it a few times.
Each 3-hour class is led by one of our expert instructors, providing personalized guidance tailored to your pace and experience level. You will learn to throw, trim, and glaze your own functional ceramic pieces, gaining hands-on experience and creative skills that last a lifetime.
By the end of the course, you will have created several small ceramic pieces, such as mugs, bowls, and mini vases, all bisque fired, glazed, and kiln fired to be food safe and dishwasher safe, ready to take home.

Pro Tip: For the best experience, we recommend taking a 2-hour or 3-hour beginner wheel class before enrolling. This helps you build a foundation, gain confidence, and refine your skills before moving on to longer courses like our 8-week intermediate program.
Join us at our Toronto pottery studio for a hands-on, creative, and immersive beginner pottery course that sets you up for success on the wheel.
