π§βοΈ Week 5: Zombie Apocalypse
August 3β7
Survive and create in Week 5 of Clay With Meβs Summer Pottery Camp, where kids dive into a spooky-fun, imagination-packed week inspired by a zombie apocalypse theme. From sculpting monster characters and eerie creatures to designing survival gear, vessels, and post-apocalyptic props, this week encourages creativity, storytelling, and bold artistic expression through clay.
Campers will explore both wheel throwing and handbuilding, learning essential pottery techniques while bringing their apocalyptic creations to life. Each child will complete one larger handbuilding project and a smaller handbuilt piece, alongside dedicated time on the pottery wheel to build confidence, coordination, and skill. Creative games, themed activities, crafts, and some outdoor fun are woven into the week to keep energy high and campers fully engaged.
By the end of the week, full-day campers will create approximately 4β6 wheel-thrown pieces plus one large handbuilding project, resulting in dramatic, imaginative ceramic keepsakes from their survival-themed adventures.
