Experience a creative fusion of wheel throwing and handbuilding in our Table Wheel Pottery Class in Toronto. This hands-on workshop is perfect for beginners and anyone curious to explore both pottery techniques in a fun, supportive setting. No experience required.

In this class, you will:

  • Work with clay using both handbuilding techniques and our unique table pottery wheels

  • Enjoy a comfortable and flexible setup that lets you sit or stand as you create

  • Learn essential handbuilding methods such as pinching, coiling, and slab work

  • Explore wheel basics like centering and shaping your clay

  • Move freely between hand-sculpting and wheel-throwing, guided by expert Toronto pottery instructors

What you can create:

  • Craft your own functional or decorative pottery piece such as a mug, bowl, plates or an abstract design

  • Experiment with your ideas at your own pace while receiving one-on-one support

After your class:

  • Choose your favorite piece to be bisque fired, glazed, and kiln-fired again

  • Your finished pottery will be food-safe, dishwasher-safe, and microwave-friendly
