2-Hour Family Pottery Wheel Class for 2 in Toronto | Beginner Friendly
This 2-hour family pottery wheel class in Toronto is designed for 2 people sharing one wheel so you can create soemthing together! Perfect for a family day. Perfect for parents and kids, friends, or any duo looking for a hands-on creative experience.
No experience needed.
You’ll start with a quick demo covering centering, shaping, and basic wheel techniques, then take turns on the wheel with guidance from an instructor throughout the session.
Together, you will create 2 pottery pieces (one per person), such as mugs or bowls.

What to expect
- Expect to get a bit dirty with clay slip, but all materials used will wipe off with water, or come out in the laundry
- The last 20 minutes of the class will be dedicated to clean-up
- This class is 2 hours
- This class includes Two finished piece that will be bisque fired, coated in a clear glaze, and fired again to make it food and dishwasher safe.
- Any included or purchased pottery will be fired by our team to make it food-safe, and ready for pickup 3 weeks after the class.
What to bring
- Please bring an apron and hand towel for you to use during the class.
- Short trimmed nails are ideal for ceramic creativity, but our team is happy to instruct some work-arounds for acrylics.
