π¦ Week 8: Jurassic Jungle
August 24β28
Travel back in time in Week 8 of Clay With Meβs Summer Pottery Camp, where kids step into a prehistoric jungle filled with dinosaurs, lush landscapes, and ancient creatures. From sculpting dinosaurs and fossil-inspired forms to creating textured jungle scenes and functional pottery, this week blends imagination, discovery, and hands-on creativity through clay.
Campers will explore both wheel throwing and handbuilding, building essential pottery skills while bringing their Jurassic-inspired ideas to life. Each child will complete one larger handbuilding project and a smaller handbuilt piece, alongside dedicated time on the pottery wheel to develop confidence, coordination, and technique. Creative games, themed crafts, and some outdoor fun keep energy high and creativity flowing all week long.
By the end of the week, full-day campers will create approximately 4β6 wheel-thrown pieces plus one large handbuilding project, resulting in bold, prehistoric ceramic keepsakes and unforgettable end-of-summer memories.
