Paint Your Own Pottery Workshop – Richmond Studio, Toronto
We make them, you paint them! In this Paint Your Own Pottery workshop at our Richmond studio in Toronto, you can choose a handmade ceramic piece and decorate it with professional underglaze paints in a relaxed, beginner-friendly setting.
In this 1.5-hour session, you will enjoy a colorful and creative space to personalize your own ceramic piece. Select from a curated collection of handmade stoneware ceramics, crafted in-studio by our team of artists using our signature beige speckled or white clay. Use vibrant underglaze paints to create bold brushstrokes, intricate details, or any design that reflects your personal style.
This class is your time to unwind, relax, and simply play with color. No pressure or perfection is required — just a fun, meditative workshop where you can switch off your brain and let your hands and imagination do the work. Whether you come solo, with friends, or make it a date, this is a relaxed and enjoyable creative experience.
Once your piece is complete, we will apply a clear glaze and fire it in our kiln, making your creation food safe, microwave safe, and dishwasher friendly. Your finished pottery will be available for pick up about 3 weeks after the workshop.

This class is for all ages or adults (based on booking), at any skill levels.
What to expect
- Expect to get a bit dirty with underglaze paints but all materials used will wipe off with water, or come out in the laundry.
- The last few minutes of the class will be dedicated to clean-up.
- Your pottery will be fired by our team to make it food-safe, and ready for pickup 3 weeks after the class.
- This class is one, 1.5 hour painting session. Ceramic pieces are priced by size from $10 to $100 and are ready to select and paint during the session.
- This class includes Attendance fee, the cost of the piece is payable at the end of the session. The workshop includes all painting supplies, the cost of booking, and firing.
What to bring
- Please bring an apron for you to use during the class.
