Paint Your Own Pottery Workshop – Dundas Studio, TorontoÂ
We make them, you paint them! In this Paint Your Own Pottery workshop in Toronto, you can choose a handmade ceramic piece and decorate it with professional underglaze paints in a relaxed, beginner-friendly setting.
In this 1.5-hour session, you’ll enjoy a colorful and creative space to personalize your own ceramic piece. Select from a curated collection of handmade stoneware ceramics, crafted in-studio by our team of artists. Use vibrant underglaze paints to create bold brushstrokes, intricate details, or any design that reflects your personal style.
This is your time to unwind, switch off, and let your hands and imagination guide the process. Whether you come solo, with friends, or make it a fun date, this class offers a relaxed, meditative, and creative experience with no pressure or expectations.
The workshop includes all painting supplies, the cost of booking, and firing. Ceramic pieces are priced by size from $10 to $100 and are ready to select and paint during the session.
Once your piece is complete, we will apply a clear glaze and fire it in our kiln, making your creation food safe, microwave safe, and dishwasher friendly. Your finished pottery will be available for pick up about 3 weeks after the workshop.

What to expect
- Expect to get a bit dirty with underglaze paints but all materials used will wipe off with water, or come out in the laundry.
- The last few minutes of the class will be dedicated to clean-up.
- Your pottery will be fired by our team to make it food-safe, and ready for pickup 3 weeks after the class.
- This class is one, 1.5 hour painting session
- This class includes attendance fee, the cost of the piece is payable at the end of the session

- Please bring an apron for you to use during the class.
