Photo Transfer Mug Workshop in Toronto: Make a Personalized Ceramic Gift
Create a personalized ceramic mug with a meaningful photo at our Photo Transfer Mug Workshop in Toronto, held at our Richmond studio. This hands-on ceramic workshop teaches you how to transfer a favourite photograph onto a glazed mug, creating a unique keepsake or handmade gift for someone special.
What to Expect at the Photo Transfer Mug Workshop
Before your workshop, our team will print your photo using specialized ceramic ink and transfer paper, preparing it for application to your mug.
During the workshop, you will:
-
Transfer your chosen photograph onto a glazed ceramic mug.
-
Learn the basics of the ceramic photo transfer process.
-
Work with our instructors to position your image on the mug.
-
Prepare your mug for kiln firing to permanently set the image.
Please note: Your photograph will appear in black and white during the workshop. After kiln firing, the image will develop into a sepia tone and become permanently fused into the ceramic glaze.
Your Finished Personalized Mug
After the workshop, your mug will be kiln fired to permanently set your photograph into the glaze. The finished piece will be a personalized ceramic keepsake you can enjoy at home or give as a meaningful handmade gift.
Pickup information: Your finished mug will be ready for pickup approximately 3 weeks after the workshop. We do not send pickup reminders, so please mark your calendar and plan to collect your mug.
Your completed mug will be food safe and suitable for everyday use, making it both a practical item and a lasting reminder of a special memory.
