In this class, you will:

Work with clay using both handbuilding techniques and our unique table pottery wheels

Enjoy a comfortable and flexible setup that lets you sit or stand as you create

Learn essential handbuilding methods such as pinching, coiling, and slab work

Explore wheel basics like centering and shaping your clay

Move freely between hand-sculpting and wheel-throwing, guided by expert Toronto pottery instructors
What you can create:

Craft your own functional or decorative pottery piece such as a mug, bowl, plates or an abstract design

Experiment with your ideas at your own pace while receiving one-on-one support
After your class:

Choose your favorite piece to be bisque fired, glazed, and kiln-fired again

Your finished pottery will be food-safe, dishwasher-safe, and microwave-friendly

What to expect
- Expect to get a bit dirty with clay slip, but all materials used will wipe off with water, or come out in the laundry
- The last 20 minutes of the class will be dedicated to clean-up
Pick up
We glaze and fire all pieces after your workshop. All pottery will be available 3 weeks from the date of your class. We do not send reminder emails or pickup notifications.
