Introducing Our Artist Series at Clay With Me
At Clay With Me Pottery Studio, we believe creativity is meant to be shared.
Our new Artist Series is a platform designed to spotlight emerging and local artists, giving them the space to lead, teach, and bring their creative voice to life through hands-on workshops. Take the workshop! Enroll here.
Instead of a one-size-fits-all class, each session is artist-led, personal, and unique shaped by the artist’s style, story, and technique.
We provide the space, they bring the vision and you get to experience something real.
Because supporting artists isn’t just important, it’s necessary. It builds community, creates opportunity, and keeps creativity evolving.
Meet Our First Featured Artist: Yexi Wang

Yexi’s artistic journey began at just four years old. For over a decade, she trained under professional artists, developing a strong foundation in watercolor, sketching, and acrylic painting.
Her work is deeply inspired by nature, especially florals, shaped by growing up surrounded by her mother’s love of flowers. She’s also known for her charming pet portraits bringing warmth and personality into every piece.
Recently, Yexi discovered ceramic painting, and instantly connected with the medium translating her signature watercolor style onto clay with ease.
Her featured workshop piece, the “Bunny Garden Plate,” blends delicate floral painting with a personal touch inspired by her pet rabbit, Bobo 🐇🌸
In this step-by-step guided painting workshop in Toronto, Yexi will teach her signature techniques, including:
• Layering color for soft, dimensional florals
• Brush control and water flow
• Translating watercolor techniques onto ceramics
