August 17–21
Cast your line into Week 7 of Clay With Me’s Summer Pottery Camp, where kids dive into an ocean-inspired week of ceramic creativity. From sculpting fish, sea creatures, and underwater scenes to creating functional pieces inspired by life by the water, this week blends nature, imagination, and hands-on making.
Campers will explore both wheel throwing and handbuilding, building essential pottery skills while bringing their aquatic ideas to life. Each child will complete one larger handbuilding project and a smaller handbuilt piece, alongside dedicated time on the pottery wheel to develop confidence, coordination, and technique. Creative games, crafts, and some outdoor fun round out the week, keeping campers engaged and inspired.
By the end of the week, full-day campers will create approximately 4–6 wheel-thrown pieces plus one large handbuilding project, resulting in playful, ocean-themed ceramic keepsakes to treasure long after summer ends.

We promote a phone-free camp environment to encourage focus, creativity, and connection. If communication is needed, please ask your child to inform an instructor.

No make-up classes are available. If a class is missed, advance notice is appreciated to help us manage project progression.

While every effort is made to ensure successful firing, the studio is not responsible for cracked, broken, or exploded pieces, as these are a natural part of the ceramic process.
A perfect week for kids who love the water, sea life, and creative play — this camp celebrates summer through clay, imagination, and hands-on fun.

Who is it for
This class is for Single registration for kids aged 6–17
What to expect
- Expect to get a bit dirty with clay slip, but all materials used will wipe off with water, or come out in the laundry
- The last 20 minutes of the class will be dedicated to clean-up
- This class is 5 days of classes, as booked
- This class includes class instruction and finished pieces throughout the class
- Any included or purchased pottery will be fired by our team to make it food-safe, and ready for pickup 3 weeks after the class.
What to bring
- Please bring an apron and hand towel for you to use during the class.
- Short trimmed nails are ideal for ceramic creativity, but our team is happy to instruct some work-arounds for acrylics.
