⏳ Week 3: Time Travellers
July 20–24
Get ready to travel through time in Week 3 of Clay With Me’s Summer Pottery Camp, where kids explore ceramics through the lens of the past, present, and future. From ancient artifacts and dinosaur-inspired forms to futuristic vessels and imaginative time machines, this week blends history, curiosity, and creativity in a hands-on clay adventure.
Campers will work with both wheel throwing and handbuilding, developing core pottery skills while creating themed ceramic projects inspired by different eras. Each child will complete one larger handbuilding project and a smaller handbuilt piece, alongside dedicated time on the pottery wheel to build confidence, coordination, and technique. The week also includes creative games, crafts, and some outdoor fun to keep campers energized and engaged.
By the end of the week, full-day campers will create approximately 4–6 wheel-thrown pieces plus one large handbuilding project, resulting in meaningful ceramic keepsakes from every stop along their time-travel journey.
