Add a handmade touch to your holidays! In this 2-hour workshop, you’ll create a set of five unique clay ornaments — perfect for decorating your own tree or gifting to loved ones.
We’ll guide you through the process step by step, from rolling and cutting to stamping, designing, and painting. You’ll have plenty of tools, textures, and underglaze paints to make your ornaments truly one-of-a-kind. Whether you keep them classic, colorful, or playful, each piece will capture your personal holiday style.
Important Note: To have your ornaments ready in time for Christmas, you must attend a workshop before December 1. The process takes about 3 weeks as your ornaments need to dry, be bisque fired, glazed, and fired again.
Each set will be finished with a clear glaze and kiln-fired, leaving you with durable ornaments to enjoy year after year — or give as meaningful handmade gifts.

What to expect
- Expect to get a bit dirty with clay slip, but all materials used will wipe off with water, or come out in the laundry
- The last 20 minutes of the class will be dedicated to clean-up
- This class is one, 2 hour session
- This class includes class instruction and aprox 5 fired ornaments
- Any included or purchased pottery will be fired by our team to make it food-safe, and ready for pickup 3 weeks after the class.
What to bring
- Please bring an apron and hand towel for you to use during the class.
- Short trimmed nails are ideal for ceramic creativity, but our team is happy to instruct some work-arounds for acrylics.
