Looking for a mosaic workshop in Toronto this summer? Join our Outdoor Beginner Mosaic Workshop and learn how to design and create your own mosaic in a relaxed, open-air setting.
What You’ll Do
• Choose your base (included in price): wooden coaster or upgrade to larger items like flower pots, plates, mirrors etc.
• Design your layout using a mix of ceramic tiles, glass, and pottery pieces
• Cut and arrange tiles to create your pattern or image
• Glue your design using professional mosaic adhesive
• Apply grout and complete your piece and take it home the same day!
Outdoor Studio Experience
• Fully outdoor class with covered shade (gazebo setup)
• Water stations available to stay hydrated
• Hand washing stations on-site
• Steps from Graffiti Alley for creative inspiration
• Open-air, relaxed environment for summer

How It Works

You’ll leave with a finished mosaic the same day. Once dry, you can polish it at home with a light layer of oil.

- Expect to get a bit dirty with clay slip, but all materials used will wipe off with water, or come out in the laundry

- Any included or purchased pottery will be fired by our team to make it food-safe, and ready for pickup 3 weeks after the class.
What to bring
- Please bring an apron and hand towel for you to use during the class.
- Short trimmed nails are ideal for ceramic creativity, but our team is happy to instruct some work-arounds for acrylics.
