Program Overview
Clay With Me's Teen Pottery Program is designed for ages 12–17 who want to explore ceramics in a creative, welcoming studio environment. This after-school pottery class gives teens the opportunity to step away from screens and spend time creating, experimenting, and developing new artistic skills.
Each weekly class provides a hands-on experience where teens can explore different pottery techniques, create unique projects, and express their individual style through clay.
What Teens Will Learn
Students will explore a variety of ceramic techniques, including:
- Pottery Wheel
- Pottery painting and glazing
- Handbuilding with clay
- Surface decoration and carving
- Creative finishing techniques
- Seasonal and themed clay projects
Whether they are new to pottery or already enjoy working with clay, teens are encouraged to experiment, build confidence, and develop their own creative process.
Program Benefits

Schedule Options
Choose one class per week for an entire month:
- Tuesdays
- Wednesdays
- Thursdays
Or SAVE with our 3-Month Commitment Package covering September, October and November.
Finished Pottery
At the end of each project, selected pieces will be:
- Bisque fired
- Professionally glazed
- Kiln fired
Finished pottery is food-safe, dishwasher-friendly, and ready to enjoy at home.

Looking for after-school activities for teens in Toronto? Clay With Me offers teen pottery classes that combine creativity, skill-building, and community in a welcoming studio environment.
Who is it for
This class is for Teen Series: 4-5:30pm. Teens aged 12-17 of any skill level.
What to expect
- Expect to get a bit dirty with clay slip, but all materials used will wipe off with water, or come out in the laundry
- The last 20 minutes of the class will be dedicated to clean-up
- This class is 1.5 hour session after school.
- This class includes Class instruction and finished pieces throughout the class
- Any included or purchased pottery will be fired by our team to make it food-safe, and ready for pickup 3 weeks after the class.
What to bring
- Please bring an apron and hand towel for you to use during the class.
- Short trimmed nails are ideal for ceramic creativity, but our team is happy to instruct some work-arounds for acrylics.
