In this hands-on pottery workshop, each guest receives a leather-hard ceramic mug (slightly soft clay that is perfect for carving and surface design). Your piece is professionally prepared and ready for decorating.
We begin with a live instructor demonstration where you’ll learn how to safely use professional clay-carving tools and explore different pottery surface design techniques.

- Expect to get a bit dirty with clay slip, but all materials used will wipe off with water, or come out in the laundry
- The last 20 minutes of the class will be dedicated to clean-up

- Any included or purchased pottery will be fired by our team to make it food-safe, and ready for pickup 3 weeks after the class.
What to bring
- Please bring an apron and hand towel for you to use during the class.
- Short trimmed nails are ideal for ceramic creativity, but our team is happy to instruct some work-arounds for acrylics.
