π¦ Week 2: Land of Magical Friends
July 13β17
Step into a world of imagination in Week 2 of Clay With Meβs Summer Pottery Camp, where kids create their own magical creatures, whimsical characters, and fantasy-inspired forms using clay. From friendly dragons and unicorns to imaginary animal companions, this week encourages storytelling, creativity, and playful exploration through ceramics.
Campers will work with both wheel throwing and handbuilding, building foundational pottery skills while designing unique, imaginative pieces. Each child will complete one larger handbuilding project and a smaller handbuilt piece, along with dedicated time on the pottery wheel to develop technique and confidence. The week also includes creative games, crafts, and some outdoor fun to keep things light, social, and engaging.
By the end of the week, full-day campers will create approximately 4β6 wheel-thrown pieces plus one large handbuilding project, resulting in magical ceramic keepsakes and plenty of proud moments.
