Join us at Clay With Me Pottery Studio in downtown Toronto for our Candle Making Workshop — a cozy, hands-on experience where scent, creativity, and ceramics come together.
In this beginner-friendly class, you’ll create your own custom candle using a pre-glazed ceramic vessel, thoughtfully crafted and finished in-studio. Simply choose your favorite ceramic piece, select your scent, and learn how to transform it into a beautifully poured candle you’ll be proud to display at home.
You’ll be guided step-by-step through the candle-making process, learning how to properly wick your vessel, blend fragrance oils, and safely pour melted wax for a clean, even finish.

- Expect to get a bit dirty with clay slip, but all materials used will wipe off with water, or come out in the laundry
- The last 20 minutes of the class will be dedicated to clean-up

- Any included or purchased pottery will be fired by our team to make it food-safe, and ready for pickup 3 weeks after the class.
What to bring
- Please bring an apron and hand towel for you to use during the class.
- Short trimmed nails are ideal for ceramic creativity, but our team is happy to instruct some work-arounds for acrylics.
