Our best-selling workshop guides you through the full pottery process — from wheel throwing to painting.

Our best-selling class for a reason, this 3-hour workshop lets you experience the full pottery process from start to finish. Learn to throw on the wheel, shape your own functional piece — like a mug or bowl — and paint it on the spot.

The session begins with a demo from our instructors, followed by plenty of hands-on guidance as you create. It’s one of our most popular workshops for a reason: it offers space to slow down, focus, and reconnect with your hands in a way that feels grounding and restorative.

No experience necessary. After your session, we’ll bisque fire your piece, apply a clear glaze, and fire it again to make it food-safe and dishwasher-safe.

Pro Tip: For the best experience, we recommend taking this 3-hour Beginner Wheel Class twice before enrolling in the 4-week course. It’s a great way to build your foundation, gain confidence, and refine your skills!
