Holiday Ornament Painting Workshop – Richmond Studio, Toronto
Bring colour and sparkle to your holidays in this 1.5-hour pottery workshop at our Richmond studio in Toronto. In this festive class, you will paint and decorate a set of five handmade ceramic ornaments, perfect for adding a personal touch to your tree or giving as thoughtful gifts.
We provide a curated selection of pre-made clay ornaments, ready for you to customize using professional underglaze paints, stamps, and decorative tools. Whether your style is bold and bright, classic and simple, or playful and whimsical, your ornaments will reflect your unique holiday creativity.
Important Note: To have your ornaments ready in time for Christmas, please attend a workshop before December 1. The full process takes about 3 weeks as your ornaments will be glazed and kiln fired after painting.
Each set will be finished with a clear glaze and kiln fired, leaving you with durable, high-quality ornaments to enjoy year after year or give as meaningful handmade gifts.

This class is for single registration for all ages and skill levels
What to expect
- Expect to get a bit dirty with clay slip, but all materials used will wipe off with water, or come out in the laundry
- The last 20 minutes of the class will be dedicated to clean-up
- This class is one, 2 hour session
- This class includes class instruction and aprox 5 fired ornaments
- Any included or purchased pottery will be fired by our team to make it food-safe, and ready for pickup 3 weeks after the class.
What to bring
- Please bring an apron and hand towel for you to use during the class.
- Short trimmed nails are ideal for ceramic creativity, but our team is happy to instruct some work-arounds for acrylics.
