Holiday Ornament Painting Workshop – Dundas Studio, Toronto
Bring color and sparkle to your holidays with our festive pottery workshop in Toronto! In this 1.5-hour class, you’ll paint and decorate a set of five handmade ceramic ornaments, perfect for adding a personal touch to your own tree or gifting to loved ones.
We’ll provide a beautiful selection of pre-made clay ornaments, ready for you to customize using professional underglaze paints, stamps, and decorative tools. Whether you prefer bold and bright, classic and simple, or playful and whimsical designs, your ornaments will reflect your unique holiday style.
Important Note: To have your ornaments ready in time for Christmas, please attend a workshop before December 1. The process takes about 3 weeks, as your ornaments will be glazed and kiln fired after painting.
Each set will be finished with a clear glaze and kiln fired, leaving you with durable, high-quality ornaments to enjoy year after year or to give as meaningful handmade gifts.

Who is it for
This class is for single registration for all ages and skill levels
What to expect
- Expect to get a bit dirty with clay slip, but all materials used will wipe off with water, or come out in the laundry
- The last 20 minutes of the class will be dedicated to clean-up
- This class is one, 2 hour session
- This class includes class instruction and aprox 5 fired ornaments
- Any included or purchased pottery will be fired by our team to make it food-safe, and ready for pickup 3 weeks after the class.
What to bring
- Please bring an apron and hand towel for you to use during the class.
- Short trimmed nails are ideal for ceramic creativity, but our team is happy to instruct some work-arounds for acrylics.
