From Clay to Kitchen – Table Wheel Pottery Class in Toronto at our Richmond Studio

Join us for an intimate, hands-on pottery workshop in Toronto designed for up to six participants. In this 2-hour class, you’ll explore both the table wheel and handbuilding techniques to create your own unique piece.

The session begins with a guided demo featuring a garlic grater plate, showing you how to build the base on the table wheel before adding texture and design details by hand. From there, you can follow the project or let your creativity guide you. Make a grater, a plate, or any piece that inspires you.

Experience the best of both worlds with the rhythm and flow of wheel throwing combined with the creative freedom of handbuilding.

At the end of class, you’ll select your favorite piece or pieces to be bisque fired, glazed, and fired again, making them food safe, microwave safe, and dishwasher friendly.

This workshop is a standing class using our table wheels. We are happy to make accommodations for seated participation if needed. Please let us know in advance if you wish to sit during class.

Join us at our Toronto pottery studio for a creative, hands-on experience that combines fun, learning, and functional art.
