From Clay to Kitchen: Garlic Grater Fusion Workshop

Join us for an intimate, hands-on pottery experience designed for just six participants. In this 2-hour workshop, you’ll explore both wheel throwing and handbuilding techniques to create your own one-of-a-kind garlic grater plate.

We’ll begin with a guided demonstration on the wheel, where you’ll shape the base of your plate. From there, you’ll move into hand-sculpting to add the signature garlic grater texture and experiment with decorative carvings to make your piece truly unique.

Whether you craft a functional grater for your kitchen or a decorative piece for your table, you’ll leave with a handmade creation that blends form, function, and artistry.

At the end of class, you can choose your favorite piece(s) to be bisque fired, glazed, and fired again, making them food-safe, dishwasher-, and microwave-friendly.

This workshop is perfect for anyone who wants a relaxed, open-ended experience with clay, combining the grounded feel of handbuilding with the movement of the wheel, all on your terms.
