We’re teaming up with Sundays Coffee Club again and this time, we’re taking your mug game to the next level with a fully guided mug carving workshop.
Each guest will receive a leather-hard (slightly soft) mug, perfectly prepped for painting, carving, and personalizing. Our instructor will start with a live demo, walking you through different carving styles, surface design options, and how to safely use professional clay-carving tools to achieve clean, beautiful results.
You’ll learn techniques like:
• Line carving and illustration
• Texture carving
• Pattern building & negative space
• Adding color and underglaze details
Throughout the session, guests will move at their own pace with hands-on support from our studio team. Each mug will be clear-glazed and kiln-fired, resulting in a durable, food-safe ceramic piece to enjoy at home.
To pair with your creativity, Sundays Coffee Club will host a specialty coffee tasting, featuring a curated selection of their favorite brews, the perfect complement to a cozy Sunday!

What to expect
- Expect to get a bit dirty with clay slip, but all materials used will wipe off with water, or come out in the laundry
- The last 20 minutes of the class will be dedicated to clean-up

- Any included or purchased pottery will be fired by our team to make it food-safe, and ready for pickup 3 weeks after the class.
What to bring
- Please bring an apron and hand towel for you to use during the class.
- Short trimmed nails are ideal for ceramic creativity, but our team is happy to instruct some work-arounds for acrylics.
